US Highway 19, SR 74 and SR 36 all provide transportation options to our community.

Railroads, Airports, and Ports

Upson County is in a unique position to serve as a logistical center point for manufacturing and distribution.  Not only is Upson County centrally located between interstates 75 and 85, it is also one hour south of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, and four hours west of the Port of Savannah. CaterParrott Railnet is the operator of the line out of Thomaston and we interchange traffic to Norfolk Southern in Barnesville.
