Meriwether Ready Mix to build plant in Thomaston

KJK Holdings, owners of Meriwether Ready Mix, recently purchased ten acres in the Thomaston-Upson County Industrial Park. The company will build a concrete plant to serve this area. According to Kyle Fletcher, Executive Director of the Thomaston-Upson IDA, “the addition of Meriwether Ready Mix to our industrial park will be a tremendous asset to Upson County as retail and housing growth continues.”  She added, the team at Meriwether Ready Mix was servicing our community out of facilities in Spalding and Meriwether County so the logistics of having a local plant made sense.” To learn more about our newest industry, visit mrminc.us
